200 ft in the air... 35 mph... 3 football fields of cable... and a thin red helmet
Today we found our new extreme sport... zip lining. If you ever come to Kauai you have to go on the Zip Tour with Backcountry Adventures. This was one of the most exhilarating things that we have down since we have been here. There are some action shots in our online gallery (a must see).
We ended the night with the best sushi on the island. If you come to Kauai you must eat at Kintaro's. For those that don't like sushi (Brian), Kintaro's has the best filet mignon on the island as well.
Tomorrow... snorkeling.

It Keeps Getting Better
We've had some great food and fun. We spent our first day venturing down south and then to the west of the island. We got a chance to explore some great areas. There is nothing like taking a day to just drive around and take in all of the beauty that Kauai has to offer.
On day two... we had our first excursion today. Outfitters Kauai took us on a day long adventure. We started with a little kayaking (about 3 miles). Then we hiked through the back country of kauai. We saw and learned about some of Kauai's plants, animals, scenery, and legends. All of this took place on a 7000 acre ranch that was converted from a sugar cane plantation. This ranch has been used for several scenes in many movies (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Jurassic Park, Seven Days Six Nights to name a few). We then had ziplined for a short while before we hiked some more to a wonderful waterfall (Kipu Falls). We swam at the base for a while and then headed home.
We've added a few more pictures to our honeymoon album in our Online Photo Gallery. You should check them out.
Check back for the next post.

Hawaii... enough said!
We made it to Hawaii safely and are already enjoying the beautiful scenery. This place is amazing. We had a few mishaps on the way, but they all turned out for the best. Northwest over booked our flight and had to put us on a Delta flight, but luckily it was non-stop. So, we actually got to Hawaii early. Along the way I noticed that we left our camera in the car in Atlanta, but that's ok we just bought another.
We arrived in Kauai last night at 6:30 pm local time (12:30 am in GA). Got settled in our room and ventured out for dinner. We had a fabulous meal and hit the sack pretty hard (we were tired after being up 22 hours, especially 9+ of them on a flight).
We got up early this morning to watch our first sun rise and it was gorgeous.
We've posted some pics in our online gallery. Check them out and keep checking back for more updates.

Here comes the Bride...
Well the wedding day is finally here. We would like to thank all of our family and friends that have helped us prepare for this day. We couldn't have done it without you. All I have to say is "Hello Hawaii".
See you guys in a week.
